Regina Daniels Cries Out Over Brother’s Alleged Detention, Demands Police Accountability

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has raised alarm over the alleged arrest and incommunicado detention of her younger brother, Sammy Daniels, sparking fresh concerns amid the ongoing controversy surrounding her marriage.

Taking to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday, the actress accused law enforcement officers of detaining her brother for over 24 hours without access to his family or legal representation.

“Finally, some people now have a video that can make them think they can mock me, chai! But it’s okay. My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!” she wrote.

Daniels also berated what she described as the inaction of senior police authorities, expressing frustration that a top-ranking officer allegedly claimed his “hands are tied.”

“Imagine one of the highest authorities in the police force, or if not the highest, saying his hands are tied! Like, ogini bu ihe!” she lamented.

The actress vowed not to be silenced or intimidated, insisting that the situation had now escalated into a test of “strength and willpower.”

“Now this fight is going to be power for power, or rather aura for aura. It’s such a pity. #FreeSammy. For the record, I don’t regret anything. Na only I carry my leg, but this was a route I was meant to take, not my final destination,” she declared.

As of press time, neither the police nor any of their spokespersons had issued a statement regarding the alleged arrest.
