Emre Can left Liverpool to join Juventus due to a disagreement over his best playing position under Jurgen Klopp, according to reports.
The German midfielder has arrived at Juve as a free agent, after rejecting multiple offers from the Reds fueling reports of a wage dispute as his reasons for leaving.
However, new reports in the Mirror claims that Can decided to leave Anfield over a ‘developing professional issue’ with Klopp during his stay. It emerged that Can wanted to play as a midfield anchor, creating a competition with Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson but Jurgen Klopp decided to play as a number 8.
Although, there were reports that Liverpool were hoping to convince the midfielder to reject the advances of Juventus and remain at Anfield. But pictures of Can’s medical at Juventus would prove otherwise.
The Reds have also completed a 43.5 million pounds move for Fabinho from Monaco to replace Emre Can.
