His friend, Alexander Osei-Owusu, described him as a hardworking individual, striving to balance his studies and job to make ends meet.

The incident occurred on a Monday evening around 8 p.m. CST, when Saskatoon police were called to DSI Underground. They found Alfred suffering from severe stab wounds and quickly transported him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
