YAHOO GUY WAS DETAINED FOR BEATING HIS GIRLFRIEND TO DEATH WHEN SHE WOULDN’T GIVE UP THE FUNDS HIS ‘CLIENT’ HAD PAID INTO HER ACCOUNT.

Police officers in Ogun State have detained Obeta John, 27, a suspected yahoo boy, for reportedly killing his girlfriend, Idowu Buhari, in the state’s Eredu Ishara region.

After receiving a distress call at the divisional headquarters of Ode-Remo on Tuesday, November 29, the suspect was taken into custody. He is alleged to have locked the deceased, an HND1 Mass Communication student at Gateway Polytechnic Saapade, inside his room, where he caused her to pass away.

SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the command’s spokeswoman, said in a statement on Wednesday, November 30, that officers arrived at the scene and found the victim in a pool of her own blood. She was soon sent to State Hospital Ishara, but the attending physician declared her dead. The culprit, an Enugu State native, was swiftly taken into custody.
