YOUTHS EXULT AS EL-RUFAI’S SON, IBORI’S DAUGHTER, AND THREE OTHER EX-GOVERNORS’ OFFSPRING ARE NAMED CHAIRPERSONS OF HOUSE COMMITTEES.

At least five former state governors’ children now serve as chairmen of significant standing committees in the House of Representatives.

Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, daughter of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, and Olumide Osoba, son of Segun Osoba, former Governor of Ogun State, were among 134 committee chairpersons announced by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas on Thursday, July 27.

Others are Adegboyega Adefarati, the son of former Ondo State governor Adebayo Adefarati, and Olamiju Akala, the son of former Oyo State governor Alao Akala.
