Popular Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael, has stirred political conversations after officially joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in a bold move that is already generating nationwide reactions.

The actor sealed his entry into politics on Saturday in his hometown, Ozubulu, where he formally registered as a member of the party.

Confirming the development on his Instagram page, Zubby Michael shared a video capturing the moment he completed his registration and received his party membership. In a strongly worded caption, the actor declared his readiness to move beyond social media commentary.

“I dey my village, enough of the talking online, I don involve,” he wrote.

His decision has since ignited a wave of reactions online, with many fans praising him for taking a clear political stance and aligning with Peter Obi, a prominent figure associated with the ADC.

Supporters flooded social media with messages of endorsement, applauding what they described as a shift from words to action. Some also used the moment to criticise celebrities backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
