By Babatunji Wusu| President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is holding talks with the President of Madagascar, Michael Randrianirina, at the State House, Abuja, as both leaders seek to deepen bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation between their countries.
President Randrianirina arrived at the Presidential Villa on Monday and was received by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, before proceeding to the meeting with President Tinubu.
The high-level engagement is focused on advancing Nigeria-Madagascar relations, with discussions expected to cover regional development, economic cooperation and broader efforts to promote African integration.
Officials said the meeting reflects the commitment of both countries to building stronger partnerships that support sustainable growth and development across the continent. The talks are also expected to explore areas of mutual interest aimed at enhancing trade, investment and diplomatic engagement.
