The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially offered Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu a two-year contract, confirming him as the substantive manager of Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
Madugu recently guided the Super Falcons to a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco, solidifying his impact after initially taking charge in an interim capacity following Randy Waldrum’s resignation last year.
With the new contract, Madugu will now lead the team into their 2026 WAFCON qualifier against Benin Republic. He has already released a 21-player squad as preparations intensify for the crucial fixture.
Madugu’s appointment is seen as a reward for stability and success, with expectations high as the Falcons aim to dominate the continent once again.
