Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on self-development and become valuable in their own right before expecting to marry wealthy and supportive partners.

Arukwe, who played the adored billionaire character “Odogwu” in the trending film Love In Every World 2, reacted to the flood of social media praise the character has received from women calling him their “ideal man.”

He reminded them that Chioma — played by Bambam — was already industrious and established before Odogwu stepped in to support her.

“The billionaire didn’t have to ask what she brings to the table,” Arukwe stressed, adding that value attracts value. He insisted that responsible men naturally seek out women who have already built something tangible for themselves.

Posting on X, he wrote:
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her… As a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you.”

Arukwe’s advice quickly sparked reactions online, with many users debating whether love or personal achievement should come first.
