Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, speaking during the visit, emphasized that Nigerians must live in harmony with one another in order to achieve sustained progress across the board in the country’s economy.
“Diversity is good for Nigeria, so our people should iron out their differences and live as a family in peace, unity, and harmony with one another,” states Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II.
“The election of Tinubu to the presidency of Nigeria was predetermined by God; we are all one, and I support quiet and tranquility. We have to coexist as one. We need to work out our differences and discover how to coexist as a single, large family.
In addition to congratulating Governor Sanwo-Olu on his reelection, the Oba of Benin praised the government for its enormous advancements in Lagos and urged him to keep pushing for even greater success during his second term in office.

As the governor greeted the Oba of Benin with President Tinubu’s greetings, he urged the traditional ruler to maintain his support for the current federal government in order to guarantee that the people of the country enjoy the benefits of democracy, which he pointed out are becoming more apparent in the third quarter of the year with an increase in GDP.
“On behalf of Mr. President, we want to thank you for your fatherly role and for your prayers and best wishes to the government, and I am sure he will not disappoint you.
“He will do everything possible to ensure that he delivers the real dividends of democracy that will help our country reduce poverty in the land, give us a new set of hope, and redefine social and economic development,” Sanwo-Olu said.
