Pastor Abel Damina Challenges Popular Religious Belief That Givers Never Lack

In a bold move to reshape contemporary religious thought, Pastor Abel Damina has publicly argued that the widely held belief that “givers never lack” is entirely absent from the Holy Bible. The outspoken cleric described the popular maxim as a misleading concept, asserting that those who promote it as a divine guarantee are not being truthful with their congregations.

According to Damina, the act of giving does not automatically generate riches or shield an individual from financial shortage. Instead, he explained that when a person gives, they experience a literal loss that creates a vacuum in their resources. “Nobody prospers simply by giving,” he remarked, emphasizing that any funds given away must be replaced through hard work and diligent labor. He noted that in many cases, people might never actually recover what they give, debunking the idea of a guaranteed supernatural financial return.

Addressing what he calls a systemic mindset issue, the pastor expressed concern that many believers have been conditioned to view God through the lens of a transaction. He shared that his skepticism grew after observing many dedicated tithers who remained in poverty despite their consistency. He challenged the notion that tithing is a secret shortcut to becoming a billionaire, pointing out that wealthy individuals who tithe owe their success to their jobs and businesses, rather than the act of giving itself.

Concluding his teaching, Abel Damina maintained that God’s blessings are already woven into the structure of the earth and are not triggered by offerings. He highlighted that natural resources and human innovation are evidence that the world is already blessed for everyone to benefit. Therefore, financial success is a result of tapping into these existing provisions through productivity rather than expecting a spiritual reward for giving to a church.
